WINGS-FOR-SHIPS (Maritime Intelligent workplace for weather Information Network, guidance and Supervision onboard ships) is a research project co-funded by the European Commission under the Fifth Framework Programme, Information Society Technologies (IST) programme, Key Action II - New methods of work and electronic commerce.

This project started on the 1st of January 2002 and will continue for 30 months. Fifteen partners from eight European countries are involved.
